Springfield, MO. - Lewis University men's tennis traveled to Newman University Saturday (Feb. 25), riding a five match win streak but lost to the Jets 2-7.

In the doubles win Mate Srdanovic (Split, Croatia/Graditeljsko-Geodetska Tehnicka) and Alan Braschinsky (Tallinn, Estonia/Milna Harma) beat Eduardo Santos and Alejandro Gonzalez 8-4 in No. 1.

Braschinsky won the Flyers only singles game against Gonzalez 7-5,4-6, 1-0 (5).

Lewis moves to 6-3 for the season. The team will stay in Springfield for their match with Drury on Sunday (Feb. 26), the match starts at 10:00 AM.
