Chicago Heights, Ill. - Monday (Feb. 6) the Lewis University men's tennis team took on Prairie State College and was able to come away with the 7-0 victory.
In singles competition the Flyers were four of four.
Mate Srdanovic (Split, Croatia/Graditeljsko-Geodetska Tehnicka) defeated Ian Millan 6-0 and 6-1.
Andre Norasith (Elgin, Ill./South Elgin) beat Avilash Mishra 6-2 and 6-1.
Brendan Peterson (Elmhurst, Ill./York) beat Alexander Bozic 6-1 and 6-2.
Chandler Stimpert (Graceland, Ill./Morton) also won in his singles match 6-4 and 6-0 against Adarsh Sahoo.
Lewis also won all three doubles matches. Srdanovic and Alan Brachinsky won 8-6 against Daniel Diaz and Daniel Nelson. Norasith and Peterson defeated Millan and Mishra 8-6.
Anton Levitin (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Buffalo Grove) and
Benjamin Kasbeer (Lake Forest, Ill./Deerfield) defeated Bozic and Sahoo 8-5.
The next match for the Flyers will be against DePaul University at the Lakeshore Athletic Club Saturday (Feb. 11) at 4:15 PM
