Columbus, Ohio - Top-ranked Ohio State University hit .485 (59 kills, 11 errors, 99 attacks) as a squad to earn the 25-13, 20-25, 25-14, 25-17 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association win over the No. 6 Lewis University men's volleyball team at St. John Arena on Thursday (Feb. 9) night.
Lewis had a hitting percentage of .263 (44-18-99), including a .577 (16-1-26) outing in the second set.
With the win, Ohio State improves to 12-0 overall and 3-0 in MIVA action, while the Flyers fall to 8-3 on the campaign and 3-2 in conference play.

Trevor Weiskircher (Loves Park, Ill./Boylan Catholic) topped the Flyers with nine kills and finished with a hitting percentage of .389 (9-2-18).Â

Matt Yoshimoto (Ventura, Calif./Adolfo Camarillo) nearly missed a double-double with a team-best 32 assists and nine digs, while redshirt senior middle blocker
Jacob Schmiegelt (Lombard, Ill./Willowbrook) paced Lewis with three block assists.
Lewis returns to action on Saturday (Feb. 11), as they head to Lebanon, Ill., for a 7 PM first serve against McKendree.
