Carley Maupin (Peotone, Ill./Peotone) each drove in three runs as the Flyer softball team cruised to the 8-0 (5 inn.) win over Northern State at Foundation #4 on Saturday (March 11).
DeMasi and Maupin each collected a pair of two-run singles and a RBI groundout in the victory. Flyer junior left fielder
Kaylee Prieto (Chicago, Ill./Marist) went 2-for-3 at the dish and scored three runs.
With the win, Lewis improves to 11-5 on the campaign, while Northern State drops to 12-5 overall.

Dara Sanders (Crestwood, Ill./Mother McAuley) won her sixth start of the Florida trip. Sanders (7-0) tossed a complete-game, two-hit shutout while striking out seven batters.
