Winter Garden, Fla. - Cedarville University pitcher Lucia Eroshevich tossed a complete-game, one-hit shutout to propel the Yellow Jackets to the 3-0 regional victory over the Lewis University softball team in the Flyers' Spring Break finale on Saturday (March 11).
Eroshevich struck out three Lewis batters and the only Flyer to record a hit was freshman catcher

With the win, Cedarville improves to 6-10, while the Flyers fall to 11-6 on the campaign.

Paige Fossey (Chesterton, Ind./Chesterton) took the loss in the circle for the Flyers. Fossey (1-5) allowed three runs, four walks and six hits in five innings of work.
Lewis opens its home season on Thursday (March 16), as the Flyers welcome local rival St. Francis (Ill.) to the Lewis Softball Field for a 2 PM non-conference doubleheader.
