Evansville, Ind. - In the match between Lewis University men's tennis and the University of Southern Indiana, the Flyers were able to prevail 5-4 against the No. 34 ranked Screaming Eagles.

At No. 1 doubles Mate Srdanovic (Split, Croatia/Graditeljsko-Geodetska Tehnicka) and Alan Braschinsky (Tallinn, Estonia/Milna Harma) defeated Andrew Dones and Samuel Kiladejo 8-6. Srdanovic defeated Kiladejo at No. 1 singles 6-3, 6-1. Braschinsky beat Denis Davydov at No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-2.

Chandler Stimpert (Graceland, Ill./Morton) and Anton Levitin (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Buffalo Grove) defeated Davydov and Jack Lipchik 9-8 (7-4) at No. 3 doubles. Stimpert picked up the win at No. 5 singles defeating Dones 7-6 (7-4), 6-0.

Lewis completes the regular season at 13-9, and 5-1 in the GLVC. The Flyers now set their sight to the conference tournament April 21.
