St. Louis, MO - Sunday morning (April 23), Lewis University women's tennis fell to the University of Indianapolis 5-2 in the GLVC Championship Semifinal.
The Flyers picked up their two wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles.
Dora Andrejszki (Budapest, Hungary/Dozsa Gyorgy) and
Nora Mindiyarova (Moscow, Russia/Gimnasium 1577) took No. 1 doubles 8-6 beating Florence Renard and Hanna Volikova.
At No. 2 doubles
Oana Trus (Sighetu Marmatiei, Romania/Regele Ferdinand) and
Sara Grozdanovic (Berlin, Germany/Paul-Natorp Gymnasium) defeated Selenay Heper and Stephanie Hirsch 8-6.
Lewis still has a chance to make the NCAA tournament, the selection show can be viewed
