Prieto, Strack and Jaworski all homer for Flyers in DH split.

Liberty, Mo. - The Lewis University softball team split its Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader on Monday (Apr. 24) against William Jewell, as the Flyers rallied for the 4-3 (8 inn.) win in the opener, but dropped a 3-2 decision to the Cardinals in Game Two at the Spratts Complex.

With the split, Lewis moves to 24-23 on the season and 12-14 in GLVC action, while the host Cardinals are now 25-23 on the campaign and 14-12 in conference play.

Lewis returns to action on Saturday (Apr. 29), as the Flyers welcome Drury to Lewis Softball Field for a 12 PM twinbill.
