Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 3 Lewis University women's volleyball team made short work of Kentucky State University, as the Flyers earned the 25-10, 25-15, 25-22 regional victory over the Thorobreds at Neil Carey Arena on Saturday (Sept. 16).
11 different Flyers recorded at least one kill, led by a match-high eight putaways from sophomore outside hitter
Morgan Goodman (Cedar Hills, Mo./Home). Goodman added a match-high nine digs.

Elizabeth Hyland (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central) and senior middle hitter
Joyce Balash (Downers Grove, Ill./Montini Catholic) each garnered seven kills.
With the win, Lewis improves to 9-1 on the campaign, while the Thorobreds drop to 4-3 on the season.

Caroline Stefanon (Orland Park, Ill./Carl Sandburg) had three blocks (1 solo). Lewis right side hitter
Maddie Seliga (St. Louis, Mo./Nerinx Hall) had four service aces - all of which came in the first game.
Lewis hit .258 (40 kills, 16 errors, 93 attacks) in the match, while the Thorobreds garnered a hitting percentage of .034 (24-21-89).
