Romeoville, Ill. - The Lewis University women's soccer team and the University of Southern Indiana combined for 35 shots, but neither team was able to find the back of the net as the Flyers and Screaming Eagles battled to a 0-0 (2 OT) tie in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match-up at Lewis Stadium on Friday (Sept. 29).

Kailey Parnello (Rockford, Ill. /Boylan Central Catholic) topped the Flyers with three shots, two of which were on frame.
With the tie, Lewis moves to 4-4-1 overall and 3-3-1 in GLVC action, while the Screaming Eagles are 4-2-3 on the campaign and 2-1-3 in conference play.

Jennifer Meyer (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport) had five stops, while the Flyers recorded two team saves. USI keeper Emily Hopkins made six saves and the Screaming Eagles had one team save.
Lewis returns to action on Sunday (Oct. 1) as they welcome Bellarmine for a 12 PM kickoff.
