Whitewater, Wisc. - In the first tournament of the season Lewis University men's tennis completed the first day of the Warhawk Fall Invite (Sept. 8).
At doubles
Alan Braschinsky (Tallinn, Estonia/Milna Harma) and Oskar Lusti had a bye in the first round but lost to Nicolas Palacio and Fabio Perasso of Cardinal Stritch University 8-3. The Lewis pair then went on to take third after beating Alex van de Steenoven and Sebastien Lescoulie of Grand Valley State 8-4.
Braschinsky won his singles match against Lescoulie 6-1, 6-1. Lusti lost to Mathis Huerre of Ferris State in a super tiebreaker 1-6, 6-2, 7-10.
Singles competition will conclude Saturday (Sept. 9).
