Chicago, Ill. - Friday (Jan. 12), Lewis University women's swimming lost in a duel meet to the University of Chicago 222-65 and Olivet Nazarene 211-71.

Stephanie Palczynski (Warrenville, IL/Wheaton Warrenville South High School) led the Flyers in their effort placing second in the 100 yard backstroke with 1:00.51 and second in the 200 yard backstroke with 2:09.06.

Alex Raczek finished third in the 1000 yard freestyle with 11:24.48.

Finishing third in the 100 yard backstroke was Meghan Beese (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard South) who finished the race in 1:01.32.

Lewis will be at home for senior day against Lincoln College January 19 for the next meet.
