ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Lewis's men's basketball team returns home to host the Bellarmine Knights on Thursday evening beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Neil Carey Arena. The Flyers look to bounce back from a 92-80 loss at Truman State on Saturday while the Knights go for their 14
th straight win.
Thursday's contest marks the second meeting of the season between the two clubs with Bellarmine winning the first contest 78-59 back on Dec. 2 in Knights Hall.
Thursday's game will also be the third annual mascot game with local area mascots playing at halftime of each game.

Delaney Blaylock (Wyoming, Mich./Godwin Heights) led Lewis (7-8, 2-3 GLVC) with 23 points. It was his third straight game topping the 20-point mark.
Cristen Wilson (Cleveland, Ohio/John Hay) scored 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the field and grabbed 11 rebounds for his fourth straight double-double and sixth of the season.
Truman led 26-25 with 9:08 left in the opening half then broke it open with a 22-7 run the remainder of the stanza to take a 16-point lead at halftime.
The Flyers cut the Bulldog lead to 60-55 with 13 minutes to play but were unable to get any closer the rest of the way.
Blaylock continues to lead the team in scoring averaging 16.7 points per game while Wilson is dropping in 15.6 points per contest and leads the team in rebounding with nearly nine per contest.
Adam Pischke (Cary, Ill./Marian Central Catholic) is the third Flyer averaging double figures in scoring with 10.4 per outing.
ABOUT BELLARMINE: The Knights enter Thursday's contest with a record of 13-0, 4-0 GLVC. They're ranked first in the D2SIDA Top 25 Media Poll and second in the NABC rankings. In their last outing they picked up an 80-58 road win at William Jewell last Saturday. Bellarmine raced out to a 23-point lead in the first half against the Cardinals only to see that dwindle down to 48-46. The Knights responded with a 32-12 run to put the game away.
Brent Bach recorded career-highs in points (23) and rebounds (8) to lead Bellarmine. Adam Eberhard finished with 16 points, 10 assists, four steals and three rebounds. Jarek Coles added 13 points as well for the Knights.
Bellarmine is averaging 79.2 points per game and are led in scoring by Eberhard with 15.5 points per game. Bach is dropping in nearly 14 points per contest while Ben Weyer is scoring 11.9 points per outing. Eberhard leads the team in rebounding pulling down 6.5 boards per contest and Coles has dished out a team best 50 assists.
