Romeoville, Ill.– The Lewis University women's swim team lost to Grand Valley 141.5-43.5 in a dual meet Saturday (Oct. 20) at Lewis. 
 
In the 200-yard freestyle, Stephanie Palczynski (Warrenville, IL/Wheaton Warrenville South High School) finished in second place with a time of 1:59.21. 
 
Ebony McCray (Avondale, AZ/Agua Fria High School) swam the 50-yard freestyle and tied for first with a time of 24.96. 
 
Shelby Gertson (Phoenix, AZ/Seton Catholic Preparatory) represented Lewis in the 200-yard butterfly and finished in second place. Gertson finished the event with a time of 2:18.93. 
 
Lewis will travel to Bloomington, Ill. next Friday (Oct. 26) to compete in a dual-meet against Illinois State.
