INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The No. 48 Lewis University women's tennis team fell to No. 30 Indianapolis 6-3 Friday (April 6) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match at the UIndy Tennis Center.

The highlight of the day for the Flyers was the No. 1 doubles team of
Dora Andrejszki (Budapest, Hungary/Dozsa Gyorgy) and
Nora Mindiyarova (Moscow, Russia/Gimnasium 1577) taking down the No. 1 doubles team in the nation of Hanna Volikova and Alina Kislitskaya 8-4. The other wins for the Flyers belonged to the No. 2 doubles team of
Simone Parn (Parnu, Estonia) and
Oana Carmen Trus (Sighetu Marmatiei, Romania/Regele Ferdinand), who defeated Dana and Paige Olsen 8-5 and Trus at No. 3 singles, who beat Chloe Weihs 6-1, 6-3.

In singles, Andrejeszki fell to Volikova 0-6, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1, Mindiyarova fell to Kislitskaya at No. 2 6-3, 6-1 and Parn fell to Mara Hofstetter 6-3, 7-6.

Lewis falls to 7-8 on the year, while Indianapolis improves to 12-5. The Flyers travel to Louisville, Kentucky to take on Bellarmine Saturday (April 7) at Noon.
