Story Links

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Alyson Jines (Temecula, CA/Temecula Valley High School) scored her fourth goal of the season for Lewis' women's lacrosse team but No. 12 Indianapolis proved worthy of its ranking and record. The Greyhounds moved past the Flyers with a 31-1 decision Wednesday evening.

Jines scored the Lewis (1-3, 1-2 GLIAC) goal with 18:48 left in the game after Lindsey Traub (Indianapolis, IN/Bishop Chatard High School) won a draw control.

Traub led the Flyers with three draw controls and two ground ball pickups and three caused turnovers.

Lewis continues its four-game homestand hosting Concordia-St. Paul this Friday at 4 p.m. at Lewis Stadium.
