ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Lewis University men's soccer team tied with Southwest Baptist in a Great Lakes Valley Conference contest Friday (Oct. 14) at Lewis Stadium. The Flyers were unable to convert one of its five shots on goal against the Bearcats.

- The Flyers went on to attempt two more shots within the next five minutes and three shots in the final 10 minutes of the second half.
- Ziermann lead Lewis with three shot attempts in the second half while Shkidchenko had two.
- The Bearcats' goalkeeper Willy Lusansu recorded four saves in the second period.
