ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Lewis University women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 contest to Rockhurst Sunday (October 16) on Senior Day. Prior to the contest, Lewis Women's Soccer honored their nine seniors prior to the contest, Julia Barenbaum (South Beloit, Ill./Hononegah Community), Meredith Coon (Battle Creek, Mich./Harper Creek), Alex Dennis (Tinley Park, Ill./Victor J. Andrew), Sonia Finch (Lombard, Ill./Montini), Abby Gustafson (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North), Katie Hayner (Freeport, Ill./Freeport), Allie Lankowicz (Mishawaka, Ind./Penn), Faith Lewis (Corunna, Ind./DeKalb), Cameron Sengstock (Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake South).

HALF BREAKDOWN
First Half: Lewis 0, Rockhurst 0
- Rockhurst looked to jump out to an early lead in the seventh minute but Nielsen recorded the save.
- Lewis tried to grab an 1-0 advantage in the 11th minute but her shot was saved by the goalkeeper.
- The Hawks recorded two shot on goals in the next five minutes but was unable to find the back of the net.
- Elisa Aguilar (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield East) tried to end the scoreless drought in the 31st minute but Rockhurst saved it.
Second Half: Rockhurst 1, Lewis 0
- Rockhurst had two shots on goal in the 51st and 53rd minute but Nielsen recorded saves.
- The Hawks broke through in the 54th minute and found the back of the net to make it 1-0 and that would be the lone goal of the match.
- Aguilar and Gustafson looked to tie the contest not in a minute later but Rockhurst' goalie saved both.
- Lankowicz tried to knot it up in the 69th minute but it was saved.
- Lewis recorded her second shot on goal attempt in the 76th minute but the shot attempt was saved.
Final Score: Rockhurst 1, Lewis 0
