ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Lewis University women's soccer team beat Quincy 3-0 in a Great Lakes Valley Conference contest Friday (Oct. 2) at Lewis Stadium.
Faith Lewis (Corunna, Ind./DeKalb) scored a goal in the first half, while
Sonia Finch (Lombard, Ill./Montini) and
Cameron Sengstock (Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake South) added goals in the second half.

- Quincy put a shot on goal in the second minute, but it was turned away by Nielsen.
- The Hawks added three more shots over the next 10 minutes, but none came on goal, with one hitting the crossbar.
- The Flyers broke the ice with a penalty kick goal by Lewis at 12:36 into the game.
- Pinto added a pair of shots that missed to the right late in the half.
