ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Lewis University women's soccer team defeated University of Missouri-St. Louis 2-1 Sunday (Sept. 11) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference contest at Lewis Stadium.
Cameron Sengstock (Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake South) scored both goals for the Flyers, giving her four on the season.

- Hadzic fired a shot that missed left in the first minute of the contest.
- Sengstock scored at the 3:27 mark with an assist to Hadzic.
- The Tritons came back a minute later with a shot on goal, saved by Nielsen.
- Lewis took three more shots before UMSL scored on a goal from Jalyn Richardson at the 18:09 mark.

- Nielsen made a pair of saves early in the second half in the 52nd and 53rd minutes to keep the game tied.
- Lankowicz tallied another shot on goal in the 75th minute that was saved.
- Sengstock found the back of the neck at the 88:22 mark on an assist from Milazzo to win the game.
