ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Lewis University men's soccer team had a late goal against Maryville Sunday (Sept. 18) which forced the Flyers and the Saints to tie.

HALF BREAKDOWN
First Half: Maryville 0, Lewis 0

• Maryville recorded two shots in the fourth minute but it was not able to find the back of the net. 
• Mikey Revell (Largo, Maryland/Bishop McNamara) looked to end the scoreless drought in the 18th minute but the shot went wide.  
• The Saints were on the attack in the 28th minute but their shot was saved by Doppelhofer. 

Second Half: Lewis 1, Maryville 1

• MU tried to score early in the second half in the 48th minute but Doppelhofer saved it. 
• In the 58th minute, Maryville had another attack attempt but the shot was saved. 
• Charles Carlback (Karlskrona, Sweden/FK Karlskrona) looked to end the scoreless tie in the 76th minute but his shot went wide. 
• The Saints found the back of the net in the 80th minute to grab a 1-0 lead. 
• MU tried to double it moments later but their shot attempt was wide.
• Lewis was able to break through and find the back of the net in the 85th minute as Darlage converted a penalty kick. 
• Zahkar Shkidchenko (Kiev, Ukraine/) looked to double the lead in the 88th minute but Maryville saved it.
