SUMMARY
To start the game, Drury jumped out to an 11-2 lead in the opening three minutes. Throughout the frame, Drury nailed three 3-pointers while Lewis committed two turnovers.

The Flyers quickly responded with a 7-0 run that cut the Panthers lead to two. Drury managed to make a pair of free throws to stop the four minute scoring drought, but Lewis' Grace Hilber (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) canned a pull up jump shot with 1:25 left in the first quarter to give the Flyers their first lead of the game.

The second quarter started off similar to the first as Lewis turned the ball over three times in the first three minutes. Drury took advantage of the Flyers misfortunes and managed to regain the lead at 23-20 with 6:55 left in the first half.

Schmidt converted a three-point play after the timeout that sparked the crowd and tied the game at 23. In a quarter with six lead changes between two hard fought teams, Lewis lead by one going into halftime.

In the first half, Lewis held No. 2-ranked Drury to 12-of-32 (37.5 percent) from the field and 5-for-11 (45.4 percent) from behind the arc.

Throughout the third quarter, both Drury and Lewis traded baskets, finding themselves tied at 49 with 1:56 left. To close the quarter, the Panthers put together a 7-0 run, led by Caitlynn Daniels who scored five of the seven points.

Entering the fourth quarter with a seven-point lead, Lewis was trying to bring themselves out of a hole against the only undefeated team remaining in the GLVC. Lewis was able to cut the lead to four after a pair of free throws from Schmidt and Gugliuzza but the Panthers were able to keep their composure and seal the win.

The Flyers shot 51 percent (26-of-51) from the field while holding the Panthers to 40.6 percent (26-of-64) from the field.
