HALF BREAKDOWN
FIRST HALF: UMSL 1, Lewis 0
UMSL put pressure on Nielsen right away with three shots on goal in the first 15 minutes. Nielsen saved the first two, but the Tritons scored on the third, a penalty kick goal at the 13:10 mark.

Lewis recorded its first shot, and shot on goal, in the 22nd minute off the foot of Pinto, but the save was made. Nielsen made another save in the 38th minute, and the Flyers headed to the locker room trailing 1-0.

SECOND HALF: Lewis 1, UMSL 0
UMSL tried to add to its lead early in the second half, but Nielsen was up to the challenge with her fourth save in the 52nd minute to keep it a one-goal game.

The Flyers then scored at the 62:27 mark off of a free kick as Aguilar tucked the ball just inside the left post to even the score after Vargas tapped her the ball at the top of the box.
Breanna Culver (Roscoe, Ill./Wisconsin-Milwaukee) drew the foul after charging through the Tritons defense to set up the scoring opportunity.

Both teams took one more shot on goal the rest of the way, but the goaltenders were up to the task.
