HALF BREAKDOWN
FIRST HALF: Lewis 1, Indianapolis 0
Both teams traded shots on goal in the first two minutes with Culver recording the one for Lewis.
Melisa Hadzic (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton Warrenville South) went on the attack in the 7' but her shot attempt was saved.
The Greyhounds looked to strike first a few minutes later but Nielsen was right there for the save. Pinto broke the scoreless tie with her second goal of the season with 27:08 left in the first half off the assist from Aguilar.
Indianapolis looked to knot the score up at 1-1 in the 20' but the shot attempt was saved by Nielsen. Both teams traded a pair of shots the rest of the first half but were all off target.
SECOND HALF: Lewis 0, Indianapolis 0
Pinto looked to double the lead and score her second goal to start the second half but the Greyhounds goalie saved it. Lewis recorded the next pair of shots from Hadzic and
Jada Harvey (Roscoe, Ill./Rockford Christian) but neither were on target.
The Greyhounds recorded the next four shot attempts with two being on goal and Nielsen saving both of them in the 70' and 73'. Culver went on the attack after the save and recorded a shot attempt but it was also saved.
Aguilar looked to double the Lewis lead with less than 13 minutes remaining but her shot was saved. Both teams each traded shots the rest of the way but none were able to find the back of the net.
