KENOSHA, Wis. - The Lewis University's baseball team had its four-game win streak snapped Wednesday (April 26) in a 3-2 loss to Wisconsin Parkside in nonconference play at Simmons Field.

SUMMARY
Lewis scored both its runs in the top of the third inning as
Chris McDevitt (Chicago, Ill./St. Rita) hit a two-run single through the right side, scoring
Kevin Barry (Bartlett, Ill./South Elgin) and
Michael Alt (Appleton, Wis./Kimberly).
The Rangers came back with a run in the sixth inning with an unearned run and two runs in the seventh inning on a pair of singles to take a 3-2 advantage.
The Flyers got a runner on base with a walk in the eighth inning before a double play ended the threat. Singles by
Thomas Fox (Norfolk, Va./Norfolk Christian) and
Angelo Cantelo (Blue Island, Ill./Marian Catholic) in the ninth inning put two runners on base, but a ground out ended the game.
Collin Amsden (Oak Forest, Ill./Marist) (2-3) suffered the defeat for the Flyers.
Jackson Brown (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc) earned the start and went six innings, allowing five hits and one unearned run, striking out four. Fox had a pair of hits to lead the offense.
