ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced on Wednesday (June 28) that 35 Lewis University student-athletes have earned the Brother James Gaffney, FSC Distinguished Scholar Award.
The award is named after Gaffney, who served as Lewis' President for 27 years and was a two-term Chair of the GLVC Council of Presidents. The award is given to student-athletes who achieved a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average during the course of the academic year.
