ROMEOVILLE, lll. - The Lewis University women's soccer team fell to Michigan Tech 5-1 Sunday (Sept. 10) in a nonconference contest at Lewis Stadium.

HALF BREAKDOWN
First Half: Michigan Tech 3, Lewis 0
The Huskies came out firing with a shot on goal in the first minute that was saved by Villasenor. In the fifth minute though Tech found the back of the net on the first of three goals from Seulgi Lee.
Lewis came back with a pair of shots before Lee scored her second goal in the 16th minute. The Huskies added a third goal of the half in the 36th minute. Lewis had three shots on goal in the final 10 minutes of the half, but each were turned away.
Second half: Michigan Tech 2, Lewis 1
Lewis broke through at the 48:35 mark on a penalty kick goal from Aguilar to make it 3-1.
Both teams were able to record shots on goal before Lee tallied her third goal of the game in the 73rd minute. Lewis came back with four shots, one on goal, before a Husky goal in the 77th minute.
Final score: Michigan Tech 5, Lewis 1

Lewis begins its conference season Friday (Sept. 15) when it travels to Springfield, Mo. to take on Drury at 5 p.m.
