KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Lewis University women's cross country team finished second at the Lucian Rosa Invitational Saturday (Sept. 23). The Flyer's finished with 59 points.
Leading the way for Lewis was junior
Chloe Wannamaker (Overland Park, Kan./Shawnee Mission South), who finished the 6K race with a time of 24:52.2. Freshman
Katie Melzer (Yorkville, Ill./Yorkville) was the next Flyer to cross the finish line after recording a time of 25:27.1.
Senior
Taylor Renkes (Dixon, IL/Dixon) was not far behind Melzer as she finished with a time of 26:11.3. Junior
Kristen Ess (Aviston, Ill./Breese Central) crossed the finish line next for Lewis after recording a time of 26:24.7.
Junior
Carly Shipman (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) was right behind Ess after finishing the race with a time of 26:27.3.
