LEBANON, Ill. - The Lewis University women's soccer team tied with McKendree 0-0 on Friday (Sept. 29).

HALF BREAKDOWN
FIRST HALF: Lewis 0, McKendree 0
Lewis managed to get the only shots on target through the first 30 minutes with a pair of them. McKendree looked to get on the scoreboard in the 41st minute but their shot attempt was saved by Nielsen. 

A few minutes later, freshman Vargas attempted to get the Flyers on the scoreboard in the final 45th minute, but the shot was saved by the McKendree goalkeeper.

SECOND HALF: Lewis 0, McKendree 0
To open up the second half in the 51st minute, McKendree went on the attack early but their shot was saved by Nielsen. 

Moments later in the second half, Nielsen was able to save another shot in the 63rd minute as the senior kept the score at 0-0.

Both teams stayed side by side each taking another shot on target and both being saved in the 69th minute. One of the shots being taken by sophomore Culver and the other being saved by Nielsen in the 81st minute. 

FINAL SCORE: Lewis 0, McKendree 0
