ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Lewis University men's soccer team played against No. 7 McKendree University on Friday (Oct. 25) where the game ended in a 0-0 draw. This extends the Flyers unbeaten streak out to 14 games.

HALF BREAKDOWN
First Half: Lewis 0, McKendree 0
In the beginning the game, the Flyers attempted to get an early lead with a shot on goal from Czosnyka, but his shot was caught by the McKendree goalkeeper. Some time passed and Makonnen Stampley (Lockport, Ill./Lockport) made a shot, but it went out left.

Both teams were still looking to score and the Bearcats made a shot on the Lewis goal, however, Doppelhofer managed to save the ball. Near the end of the period, Lewis looked for the lead after a shot from Godwin Asore (Kumasi, Ghana/Putnam Science Academy) that but it ended up out right.

Second Half: Lewis 0, McKendree 0 
The second period begins with the Flyers attempting to get something going with two shots from Abreu and one from Stampley but both shots were out.

After some back and forth playing, Lewis geared up again with shots from Roman Hernandez (Aurora, Ill./Aurora East) and Mohammed Sanyang (London, England/Heartland CC), while the Bearcats had a shot of their own but none found the back of the net.

The end of the period drew closer and Lewis did not have a chance to score. One final shot was made by Abreu, unfortunately, it was out on top.

Lewis was unable to score any goals, while they also prevented McKendree from scoring any of their own. Because of this, the game ended with a 0-0 draw.
