HALF BREAKDOWN
First Half: Maryville 1, Lewis 0
The first period began with Maryville gaining possession and keeping the ball within the Lewis side. The Saints kept up strong offensive possessions with them making three shots on goal that Graziosi managed to save, however, Maryville was able to score to put the Lewis at a 1-0 disadvantage.

The Flyers were able to gain possession and Lewis launched their own offense and shots were made by Aguilar and Culver, but they were unsuccessful. After some plays by the Saints, Lewis looked to equalize the score but were unable to do so.

Throughout the remainder of the period, Lewis kept the ball in the Maryville side in an attempt to gain their first goal. These shots were made by Culver, Hadzic, Abbie Delong (O'Fallon, Mo./Incarnate Word Academy) and Jada Harvey (Roscoe, Ill./Rockford Christian). Unfortunately, none of them could find the back of the net and the period ended with Maryville at an 1-0 advantage.

Second Half: Maryville 1, Lewis 0
Moving into the second half, the Saints took the ball and were able to make their own shots, but Graziosi was there to stop the shots on goal. Possession then went back and forth between the teams with Aguilar making a shot for Lewis and Graziosi saving a shot from Maryville.

This back and forth play ended with the Saints being the ones to get the advantage and score their second goal of the game to put Lewis at a 2-0 disadvantage.  The Saints were still able to keep possession of the ball and they did not give Lewis the opportunities they needed to be able to score.

Final Score: Maryville 2, Lewis 0
