HALF BREAKDOWN
First Half: Indianapolis 1, Lewis 0
Starting off the game, Indianapolis was the first to gain possession and shots were fired from their players. Lewis was able to gain possession and a shot was made by Reese Capion (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North High School) but went out top right.

The Greyhounds were persistent and regained possession in their offensive side. Uindy then managed to slip past the Lewis defense and score a goal to get the first lead 1-0.

The Flyers, hoping to even the score, gained possession and launched their own shot by Jada Harvey (Roscoe, Ill./Rockford Christian) and shot on goal by Hadzic. These attempts were not enough, however, and the first period ended with Lewis at a 1-0 disadvantage.

Second Half: Indianapolis 0, Lewis 0
Going into the second period, the Flyers were eager to score their first goal to tie the game so they launched heavy offensive shots. After a save by Graziosi, Lewis gained possession and were taking a lot of shots but none found the back of the net.

For the remainder of the period, Breanna Culver (Roscoe, Ill./Wisconsin-Milwaukee), Nichole Eyre, Isabella Vargas (Aurora, Ill./West Aurora) and Karolina Skubisz (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) made shots against the Greyhounds. Hadzic was also making shots on goal, however, the Flyers could not break through the defense of the Greyhounds.

Despite their heavy offense, Lewis lost against Indianapolis 1-0.

Final Score: Indianapolis 1, Lewis 0
