BOLIVAR, MO. – The Lewis University women's soccer team won 2-1 against Southwest Baptist during the game on Oct. 4.

HALF BREAKDOWN
First Half: Lewis 2, Southwest Baptist 0
Beginning the game there was the kick off and Lewis began their game against Southwest Baptist. Lewis played on the offensive side a majority of the first period.

This offense was rewarded in the fourteen minute mark where Hadzic scored with an assist from Culver to bring the score to 1-0. The offense from Lewis did not stop there and merely three minutes later, Culver scored to put them at 2-0.

For the remainder of the period, Lewis was able to keep Southwest Baptist from scoring and the score remained 2-0.

Second Half: Southwest Baptist 1, Lewis 0
The second half saw Lewis being on the defensive side to keep their advantage over Southwest Baptist. The ball was run around the field but it did not make it close enough to either goal for any shots to be made.

Lewis went back on the offensive side with a shot by Aguilar but it was saved by Southwest Baptist's goalkeeper. The Bearcats started going on the offensive side with multiple shots throughout the remainder of the period. 

By the eighty-seven minute mark Southwest Baptist managed to score a goal to put the score at 2-1.
