HALF BREAKDOWN
First Half: Lewis 0, Rockhurst 0
Lewis started off the game with a quick start with a shot on goal by Aguilar, however, it was saved by the Rockhurst goalkeeper. This shot was followed by another shot by Hadzic but it was out left.

Rockhurst then went on their own possession and made some shots of their own. They made a shot on the Lewis goal but it was saved by Graziosi. A shot was made by Breanna Culver (Roscoe, Ill./Wisconsin-Milwaukee) but it was out on top.

Continuing their possessions, Rockhurst made two more shots on goal, however, Graziosi kept up her defense and saved both of them. This was followed by another shot by Aguilar.

Another shot on goal was made by Lewis from Hadzic, yet it was saved once more by the goalkeeper for Rockhurst. Rockhurst tried one last time to score the first goal of the half, however, Graziosi saved it once again and the first half ended with a  0-0 tie.

Second Half: Rockhurst 1, Lewis 0
Opening up the second period was a shot by Timea Rojnik (Bratislava, Slovakia/British Internnational) that was out top. Reece Capion tried to score to finally get a goal on the board but her shot was saved by the Rockhurst goalkeeper. Hadzic then attempted to score as well but also had her shot saved by the goalkeeper.

Rockhurst then moved looking to score their first goal with a shot on goal but Graziosi managed to save it. Unfortunately, while Graziosi saved the prior shot, she was unable to save the following shot made at the seventy minute mark and Rockhurst scored the first goal of the game and put themselves ahead 1-0.

Lewis kept trying to fight back with shots made by Cosa Bella Milazzo (Orland Park, Ill./Victor J. Andrew), Abbie Delong (O'Fallon, Mo./Incarnate Word Academy) and an unsuccessful shot on goal by Culver. Graziosi managed to save a shot by Rockhurst to at least keep them from scoring again and putting Lewis at a greater disadvantage.

Two last shots were made by Aguilar to try to get some sort of momentum, however they were both out and Lewis was unable to come back from that. The period ended and Lewis lost to Rockhurst 1-0.
