Lewis held a good lead through the start of the first half with more layups from
Cem Kirciman (Istanbul, Turkey/Wisconsin-Green Bay) and Warden. With the Greyhounds making it a tougher contest,
Devon Vanderheydt (Washington, Ill./Washington) hit a three to give Lewis some more breathing room. UIndy from the bread line tied the game at 17 and took the lead after a layup to put Lewis down for the first time of the night.
Stroud took a shot that was good fro three to give the Flyers the lead back but the Greyhounds hit two three's in a row to regain it again. There was alot of action from the free throw line down the stretch of the first half and it looked as if UIndy would head into the locker room with a sizable lead. However a foul and a tech put Gibson on the line to hit four straight free throws to make it a 44-41 game in favor of UIndy at half.
The Greyhounds started the second half on a run to put the Flyers down by seven. Gibson nearly cut that lead in half with a three, followed by another shot from downtown to bring them in within one.
Stroud continued his work on the glass tipping in a missed layup to give the lead back to Lewis. The Greyhounds would take it back after a three but Renfro with an and one gave Lewis the one point lead once again.
The Flyers started to pull away thanks to seven straight points from Warden, Vanderheydt and Gibson.
With just under 90 seconds remaining the game was tied at 80. Renfro got the ball in the post worked his way to a jumper to give Lewis the lead back. The Greyhounds were able to get one more shot to fall but the Flyers offense and defense were to strong to close out the game.
