Lewis Women's Swimming Sending Six to NCAA DII Meet

INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA Division II Women's Swimming and Diving Committee has announced the participants for the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Swimming and Diving Championships which is set to take place March 12-16 at SPIRE Institute Aquatics Center in Geneva, Ohio. The Lewis women's swimming team has landed six invitees to the championships next week.

Larissa Alves (Panama/Colegio De La Salle), Riley Byers (Cumming, GA), Aubrey Fischer (Lawrence, KS/Lawrence), Ioanna Palla, Luna Schafer (Playa Del Carmen, Mexico/The Trents), Magdalena Wlodarkiewicz (Warszawa, Poland/CXXXVII Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace im. Roberta Schumana) all received invites to compete. 

Alves made it in the 200 Individual Medley, 200 Free Relay, 500 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle, 400 Individual Medley.

Byers clinched a spot in the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay.

Palla will be in the 200 Medley Relay.

Schafer will make an appearance in the 200 Free Relay. 

Wlodarkiewicz will be in the 200 Backstroke, 50 Freestyle, 100 Breaststroke in Geneva, Ohio.
