GAME SUMMARY
FIRST QUARTER: Lewis 12, Aquinas 1
Lewis started hot, taking a 5-0 lead in the first eight minutes. Winterlik started the scoring with two goals in the first two minutes.

Serritella then scored on a free-position shot, Able scored the next goal, then assisted on Davidson's goal to make it 5-0. Aquinas then got a goal back with 6:37 left in the opening frame.

The Flyers took off from there with seven goals in the final six minutes, started by Serritella scoring off an assist from Davidson. Bowen then scored her first goal of the match, followed by assisting on Sweeney's goal to make it 8-1.

Serritella added another free-position goal before Bowen struck again for Lewis' 10th goal.
Amelia Procyk (Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada/Dr. Charles Best) scored off of a pass from Able and Davidson found Sweeney for the final goal of the quarter to make it 12-1.

SECOND QUARTER: Lewis 3, Aquinas 1
The Flyers added the first three goals of the second quarter as the lead continued to grow. Serritella scored with Lewis a player down with an assist from Davidson at the 10:49 mark.

Catherine Roney (Barrington, Ill./Saint Viator) scored off of a free-position shot and Sweeney scored after a pass from Davidson to make it 15-1. The Saints scored the last goal of the first half to make it 15-2 at the break as Templeton had two saves in the first half.

THIRD QUARTER: Lewis 5, Aquinas 1
Lewis continued to build its lead in the third, scoring the first four goals of the frame to all but put the game away. Serritella had the only goal of the first six minutes, assisted by
Chiara Hurd (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Hoffman Estates).

Bowen found Able for the Flyers' next goal, followed by Serritella scoring again off a feed from Procyk. Bowen then scored off an assist from Serritella before Aquinas scored to make it 19-3.

With Lewis a player down, Winterlik found Serritella for a buzzer-beater goal to close out the quarter and set the score at 20-3.

FOURTH QUARTER: Lewis 3, Aquinas 0
The Flyers added three more goals in the fourth to finish the scoring. Procyk scored first, followed by Hurd finding the back of the net after a pass from Able.

Hurd scored again to make it 23-3 with 7:38 to play, and neither team would score the rest of the way. Templeton had one more save in the fourth quarter to keep the Saints off the board.
