The Buckeyes took six of the next eight points to tie it, 11-11. Kills by Roquet and Drolsum put Lewis back up, 15-14, and both sides traded points from there until it was tied at 20.

Set 2: Lewis 27, Ohio State 25
Lewis once again took an early lead, going up 7-3 as Baggs had two block assists and an ace in the early going. The Flyers pushed the lead to 9-4 before Ohio State used a 5-1 charge to make it a one-point game, 10-9.

The Flyers wouldn't go away, though, taking four of the next six including a solo block and kill by
Deyan Todorov (Sofia, Bulgaria/51st Secondary) to tie it at 20. After the Buckeyes took the next three points, Lewis used a 4-1 run including two more kills by Todorov to get tied at 24.
Ohio State took the next point but the Flyers used three straight kills, the first by Morgan and then back-to-back finishes by Roquet, to take the second set and even the match.

Baggs had a kill for the first point of set three but the Buckeyes took the next three points for a 3-1 lead. Ohio State used two 3-0 runs to go up 11-6 later in the set.
Lewis took six of the next eight points including a kill and block assist by both Baggs and Todorov to get within one, 13-12. Things stayed close from there as an ace by Roquet later made it 17-16 Buckeyes.
Ohio State responded immediately, taking the next four points to make it 21-16. A 3-0 Flyer run with two kills by Todorov and a solo block by Baggs made it close again at 22-20, but OSU took three of the last four points to go up 2-1.

The Buckeyes took three points in a row to go ahead 7-3 in set four. Ohio State continued to slowly build the lead from there until OSU was ahead, 15-9.
Lewis took the next two points on a service error and kill by Roquet but the Buckeyes took the next three to make it 18-11. A 3-0 charge from the Flyers capped off with a
Christian Prayer (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway North) service ace made it 19-15 and kills by Drolsum and Roquet later got Lewis within three points at 22-19.
Unfortunately for the Flyers, that was as close as the score would get the rest of the way as Ohio State finished off the match with a kill.
