ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Lewis University women's soccer team suffered a setback against Purdue Northwest 1-0 at Lewis Stadium Wednesday (Sept. 11).

HALF BREAKDOWN
First Half: Lewis 0, Purdue Northwest 0
Purdue Northwest started the first 11 minutes with three shots but all were off target. Later in the half, Graziosi kept the score tied with three saves.
Lewis looked to take the lead late heading into the break as Kailyn Ziroli (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North) found an opening but her shot was off target.
Second Half: Purdue Northwest 1, Lewis 0
Hadzic tried to put the Flyers on the scoreboard in the first three minutes of the second half but it was saved by PNW's goalkeeper. The Pride then responded and broke through to score the lone goal of the match in the 57'.
Graziosi managed more saves to prevent PNW from scoring. Lewis was able to get shots from Hadzic and Elisa Aguilar (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield East) but were saved by PNW's goalkeeper as well.
