The beginning of Thursday's game was an intense fight for offense as both teams carried the ball into their opponents defense. The first half saw shots by Rogalski and Ziermann but neither team walked back to the locker room with a goal.
Second Half: Lewis 2, Northern Michigan 2
Lewis got to work early in the second half with a goal by Czosnyka assisted by Windlund at 49:37. A few short minutes later, the Flyers returned to their offensive side with another goal by Widlund at 56:57.
The Flyers couldn't hold on to the lead after Northern Michigan's Uchenna and Gumbs scored goals at the 66:10 and 82:02 marks. This concluded scoring for both teams and the match ended in a tie.
