ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Lewis University men's soccer team ended up tied 2-2 with Roosevelt university on Sunday (Sept. 22).

HALF BREAKDOWN
First Half: Lewis 2, Roosevelt 1
The game began with Lewis on the defensive side with two saves from Doppelhofer. Lewis struck back with a goal from Revell with an assist from Asore in the 15' and merely three minutes later Asore himself scored for Lewis in the 18' putting the game at 2-0 in favor of the Flyers.
Later in the first half, Roosevelt scored a goal of its own to put the game at 2-1 Lewis.
Second Half: Roosevelt 1, Lewis 0
The beginning of the second half saw a corner kick from Roosevelt. Roosevelt was granted a penalty kick and managed to score once more to tie the game 2-2.
A shot was made by Revell, however it was saved by Roosevelt's goalkeeper. Another shot was made by Jackson Godfrey (West Dundee, Ill./Jacobs) but it was out on top.
Lewis was just unable to get the score they needed to win the game so they ended up tying with Roosevelt 2-2.
