Join us for an exciting night of basketball on Thursday, January 23rd, as we celebrate Newell-Trost Night! This special night is dedicated to our incredible basketball coaches, Keisha Newell and Scott Trost, who have shown unwavering commitment to our student-athletes.

Keisha Newell is in her third season as the head coach of the Lewis University Women's Basketball program. She has led the team to a stellar 57-22 record and back-to-back NCAA Tournament berths. This past season, Coach Newell guided the Flyers to an unforgettable 2023-24 campaign, securing both the GLVC Regular Season and Tournament Championships, with a 23-9 record and a program-record 19 conference wins.

Scott Trost, in his 19th season as head coach, is the Flyers' all-time winningest men's basketball coach. Under his leadership, the team has secured five 20+ win seasons and six NCAA Tournament berths. Coach Trost has led the Flyers to five GLVC Championship games, winning titles in 2016 and 2021. He's been named the IBCA NCAA Division II Coach of the Year six times (2008, '12, '15, '16, '19, '21).
