Romeoville, Ill. - The Lewis women's soccer team lost their second match of the season against the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Lewis is now 6-2-5 overall with a 5-2-3 conference record while UMSL becomes 8-3-2 overall with a 7-1-2 conference record.
HOW IT HAPPENED
On a chilly and windy day in Romeoville the Flyers looked to move up in the conference standings with only a few games left in the season. The Flyers shot the ball well keeping the pressure the entire match with 14 shots. The Tritons scored the go ahead goal 24 minutes in with a shot from Maddie Clark. Josie Maddox and Natalie Scott added two more goals in the second half to make it a 3-0 final score.Â
Both goalies played a full 90 minutes with Caitlin Yurkovich (Bartlet, Ill./College of Dupage) in net for the Flyers with three goals allowed and three saves. The Tritons sent out Rylee Griffith who allowed no goals with 5 saves.
