Lewis Men's Soccer Falls to McKendree on Sunday

Lebannon, Ill. - Another conference loss for the Flyers during their last road series of the season. 

Lewis is now 4-5-7 overall with a GLVC record of 3-5-4 while the Bearcats move to 7-4-4 with a conference record of 7-2-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED

McKendree set the tone very early with goal by Lenny Dupouyet in the first 2:47 of the match. Two more goals would follow in the first half for the Bearcats from the feet of Adam Reiniger and Paul Moodie. The Flyers and Bearcats took the same number of shots in the contest, each with six. 

Jeremiah Higgins (Chicago, Ill./Lane Tech) took the net for the Flyers for the whole 90 minutes with one save while Toby Lewis for the Bearcats played another full 90 with 2 saves and no goals allowed.
