IMPACT PLAYERS
Arius Alijosius (Riverside, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield) led all scorers with a career-high 25 points while knocking down seven three pointers (7-for-8) in 31 minutes of action.
Collin Albert (Cleveland, Ohio/Lutheran Highschool East) added 23 points on 10-of-18 shooting, including a pair of three-pointers, and led the team with six assists and five rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lewis opened the game strong as Albert buried a three on the opening possesion to give the Flyers the first lead, but Tiffin responded with a 12-2 run to build a 15-6 advantage. Back-to-back threes by Alijosius late in the half helped Lewis trim the deficit to one possession, making it 25-28 with under a minute left. A late layup and free throw by KJ Pruitt sent Tiffin into the locker room up 31-25.
Early in the second half, the Dragons caught fire from deep asa Pangonas and Nesmith combined for three triples in the opening minutes to extend lead to double digits, 40-29. Lewis trimmed the gap to 12 multiple times behind Alijosius and Albert, who combined for all of the Flyers' second-half field goals until the final two minutes, but each time Tiffin answered with timely baskets and free throws.
A 10-3 Dragons run midway through the frame broke the game open at 57-40 and the Flyers were unable to get back within single digits down the stretch. Tiffin's balanced scoring and 18 bench points proved too much to overcome as the Dragons closed out the 77-59 victory.
GAME NOTES
- Alijosius' seven made threes are the most by a Flyer in a single game since at the 2016-17 season.
- Albert and Alijosius combined for 48 of Lewis' 59 total points.
- Saturday marked the third all-time meeting between the two programs. Lewis is now 1-2 against the Dragons.
