HOW IT HAPPENED
Down 26-16 just over halfway through the first half, the Flyers found a spark as an Alijosius driving layup spurned an 11-2 run that cut the Lewis deficit to just three, 28-25, with 3:52 remaining in the first half.

The Cardinals tallied eight of the next nine points and entered halftime with a 36-26 edge.

The two sides traded scores out of the halftime break, but a 15-6 run midway through the frame from the visitors gave them a 19 point cushion at 65-46 with 6:08 remaining. Despite a late 9-2 rally from Lewis that brought them to within 10, 70-60, the visitor Cardinals never relinquished their lead and held on to win 72-60.
