NORTH CANTON, Ohio. -- The Lewis University men's lacrosse team traveled to Walsh University on Saturday (Feb. 16) and walked away with their second win of the season.

GAME SUMMARY
FIRST QUARTER: Lewis 3, Walsh 2
Donahue once again took guard in between the pipes for the Flyers. Lewis struck the first lead of the game with a goal by
Michael Metheny (Fishers, Indiana/Hamilton Southeastern HS). Only 3 seconds later after the face off the Flyers scored once again with a goal by
Logan Suchy (Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota/Simley HS). Walsh scored their first goal a few drives later.
The Flyers would end the quarter with another goal thanks to the offensive efforts of
Kevin Blaz (McHenry, Illinois/Marian Central Catholic HS). Walsh would throw another in the nest as well with about three and a half minutes remaining in the first.
SECOND QUARTER: Lewis 5, Walsh 2
In the second quarter, Walsh scored first in the opening minute. Later with a good clear attempt,
Malikye Good (Windsor, Ontario, Canada/St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic HS) would fire in a shot to make it a 4-3 game. It would become 5-3 with a Lewis goal scored by
Luke Schroeder (Plymouth, Minnesota/Totino-Grace HS). Only three minutes later the Flyers would slap another point on the board with another goal by Rappis to put Lewis up by 3.
Walsh would throw a ball into the back of the net with under five minutes remaining in the half.
Paul Ruskoski (Tulsa, Oklahoma/Bishop Kelley HS) and Metheny would lace two more shots into the back of the net to make it an 8-4 game at half.
THIRD QUARTER: Lewis 1, Walsh 1
Rappis on his team goal leader day would score Lewis' only goal in the third quarter early on with an assist from Collier. Walsh scored their lone third quarter goal with a minute and a half remaining to make it a 9-5 Lewis lead.
FOURTH QUARTER: Lewis 5, Walsh 2
On the power play, Ruskoski would score the Flyers' tenth goal of the match. The Flyers would throw in two more at 9:32 and 9:02 out of the sticks of
Lance McCann (Elmhurst,Illinois/York Community HS) and Metheny respectfully. Walsh would throw in their first goal of the quarter with 8:19 remaining.
Perri dished the ball out to Rappis for a goal not once but twice within 15 seconds to give Lewis their 13th and 14th goal of the contest. Walsh would lace in the final goal of the game ending the match with Lewis out on top 14-7.
FINAL SCORE: Lewis 14, Walsh 7
