MOLINE, Ill. - The Lewis University women's bowling team defended its title at the Viking Classic at Highland Park Bowl Sunday. The title gave Lewis its second tournament title of the season for the first time in program history. Lewis overcame a 3-0 deficit in the semifinals to win 4.5-3.5 and took home the championship 4-3 over Central Missouri.
Katharine Svehla (Elmhurst, Ill./York) earned All-Tournament Team honors, her first of her career.
