LAST WEEK IN WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Lewis University women's basketball team was in Missouri on Saturday (Feb. 1) to take on Drury. The Flyers came out victorious in a close game with clutch free throws by Kree Nunnally (Crystal Lake, Ill./Example Academy) to put the Flyers up 75-73.

The Flyers came back home for their game against UMSL on Thursday (Feb. 6). The Flyers put on a dominant performance against the Tritons going into halftime with a score of 41-19. The Flyers won with a final score of 65-54, improving their record to 18-2.

LAST WEEK IN MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Lewis University men's basketball team completed their Missouri road trip with their game against Drury on Saturday (Feb. 1). The Flyers came out on top in a hard-fought victory.

Paxton Warden (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard West) made the go-ahead layup with 31 seconds left and made the game clinching free throws. The Flyers won with a final score of 69-67.

The Flyers returned home to take on the Tritons of UMSL on Thursday (Feb. 6). The Flyers fought hard but came up short against the Tritons with a final score of 77-66 and falling to 13-7 on the season.

LAST WEEK IN MEN'S VOLLEYBALL
The Lewis University men's volleyball team traveled to California to face off against UC Santa Barbara on Friday (Jan. 31) and Pepperdine on Saturday (Feb. 1). The Flyers were victorious against the Gauchos of UCSB winning the match 3-1.

The Flyers ended their road trip with a loss to the Waves of Pepperdine, 3-0. The Flyers returned home for their game on Wednesday (Feb. 5) against Lindenwood.

The Flyers secured their eighth win of the season beating the Lions, 3-1.

LAST WEEK IN WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD
The Lewis University women's track and field team competed in the Windy City Invite Saturday (Feb. 1). The Flyers had four athletes finish 1st in their respective events with Caitlyn O'Boyle (Seneca, Ill./Seneca) (60M Hurdles), Denise Hernandez (Naperville, Ill./Naperville North HS) (60M), Riley Warren () (Pole Vault) and Aubrey Brinkman (Mapleton, Ill./Illini Bluffs HS) (Weight Throw).

LAST WEEK IN MEN'S TRACK AND FIELD 
The Lewis University men's track and field team competed in the Windy City Invite Saturday (Feb. 1). The Flyers had two athletes finish 1st in their respective events. Enoch Antwi (Romeoville, Ill.) (Triple Jump) and Abraham Christian (Huntley, Ill./Huntley HS) (High Jump). 

LAST WEEK IN SOFTBALL
The Lewis University softball team started their season in Hawaii. The Flyers took on Hillsdale College in their first game of the season Monday (Feb. 3).

The Flyers beat the Chargers in extras, 7-6. Later that day, they faced off against Ferris State and won in dominant fashion, beating the Bulldogs, 8-1. The Flyers took on Hillsdale and Cal Poly Humboldt the following day (Feb. 4).

The Flyers fell short against the Chargers, 3-2 and lost to the Lumberjacks, 10-0 in five innings. Later in the week, the Flyers played the University of Nebraska at Kearney and the University of Hawaii-Hilo Thursday (Feb. 6).

The Flyers came up short against the Lopers, 7-6 as well as losing to the Vulcans, 7-5.

LAST WEEK IN WOMEN'S BOWLING
The Lewis University Women's Bowling Team traveled to Missouri to compete in the Saints Invite hosted by Maryville University. The Saints Invite was held over the course of three days (Jan. 31, Feb. 1, Feb. 2). The Flyers lost to all five of their opponents Friday.

No. 11 Sacred Heart 897, Lewis 887, No. 15 Tulane 949, Lewis 933, No. 16 Wisconsin Whitewater 1,091, Lewis 1,041, Wright State 1,197, Lewis 917, No. 21 UAB 1,029, Lewis 940. Unfortunately for the Flyers they went 0-4 on Saturday (Feb. 1).

Losing to No. 7 Wichita State 1,013, Lewis 837, No. 12 Louisiana Tech 1,102, Lewis 952, Valparaiso 958, Lewis 904, No. 13 McKendree 1,046, Lewis 964. The Flyers finished the Saints Invite, 2-1 beating Newman 4-0 and Central Missouri 4-3 but lost to Valparaiso 4-2.
