SAN RAFAEL, Calif. -- The Lewis University women's lacrosse once again faced off against Dominican University of California on Thursday falling once again to the undefeated Penguins.

GAME SUMMARY
FIRST QUARTER: Dominican 4, Lewis 0
The Flyers allowed four goals throughout the first quarter giving the Penguins a commanding lead.
SECOND QUARTER: Dominican 4, Lewis 1
The Flyers let in another four goals in the second quarter. This time they followed with a goal of their own coming off a free position shot by Winterlink to give Lewis their first goal of the night.
THIRD QUARTER: Lewis 3, Dominican 1
Dominican scored the first goal of the third giving themselves a 9-1 lead but the Flyers did cut the deficit by three throughout the quarter.
Heidi Sweeney (New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada/New Westminster) with the assist from Roney. Aminute later Cappellini laced another into the back of the net. With less than four minutes remaining in the quarter, Leiws final goal would come from
Georgia Kodytek (White Bear Lake, Minn/White Bear Lake South) to mkae it a 9-4 game.
FOURTH QUARTER: Lewis 4, Dominican 2
The Flyers continued to battle throughout the start of the fourth with a early goal from
Amelia Procyk (Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada/Dr. Charles Best Secondary School) to make it 9-5 Dominican lead. Cappellini added another goal to her box score around the 11 minute mark to make it 9-6.
Domincan and Lewis traded two more goals throughout the rest of the match. Lewis goals came from the nets of
Ravyn Jimenez (Navarre, FL/Navarre High School) and Winterlik once again. Final buzzer sounded and the Flyers ran out of time to notch any more goals.
FINAL SCORE: Dominican 11, Lewis 5

Lewis will be back in action Friday, March 28 as the Flyers travel to Saginaw Valley State to take on the Cardinals starting at 2 p.m. CT.
